‘Tis the season for Christmas cookies – and shopping.
Lawrenceville’s 15th annual Joy of Cookies Cookie Tour combines both with a cookie-filled tour around the neighborhood’s small businesses.
More than 30 shops and businesses will be participating from now through Sunday in the informal cookie tour, offering samples of the shopkeeper’s favorite cookies, along with specials and deals.
While each shop keeps their own hours, most stops on the cookie tour will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
On Saturday, The Cookie Mall will be open at Satin Augustine’s Social Hall (220 37th Street), with a bake sale, eggnog samples from Turner’s Dairy, and cookies to taste.
