Every month, Waffles, INCaffeinated comes up with a new seasonal special of waffle goodness, and this month, they’re focused on strawberries.
The ‘Straw-nana Shortcake’ is a warm buttermilk-and-shortcake waffle, seasoned with a hint of nutmeg and layered with banana cream and fresh strawberries. Then, it’s topped with whipped cream, and even more strawberries, and finished with almond slices and a lemon-and-strawberry drizzle.
And, if you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck – they’re offering a GF version, too.
It’s available at both their locations, in Beaver and on Carson Street in Pittsburgh until the end of the month.
