Kennywood is hosting its first-ever ‘Brews in the Park at Kennywood,’ a craft beer festival that will feature dozens of breweries, food trucks… and roller coasters, of course.
Brews in the Park is happening on Saturday, September 24. The 21 and older event starts at 2:00 p.m., with select Kennywood rides (Jack Rabbit, Racer, Thunderbolt, Sky Rocket, Aero 360 and Merry Go Round) operating until 4:00 p.m. After that, beer tastings will be held all over the park, from breweries including Rogue, Elysian, Voodoo, Yards, Penn Brewery and more.
Some of Kennywood’s signature foods will be available, like Potato Patch fries (yes!), corn dogs, hot dogs, funnel cakes and cheese steaks. Food trucks (Voodoo Foodoo Truck, Oh My Grill, Nakama and Pizzaiolo Primo) will be serving up tasty bites, too.
Tickets are $29.99 until Monday, September 19, then the price increases to $49.99. Each ticket includes a tasting glass, complimentary beer samples, and free hot dogs. Other food, beverages and merchandise will be available for purchase. There is also a Designated Driver ticket available for $20.
