There is no sweeter treat when the weather is warm than ice cream – and Klavon’s Ice Cream Parlor is the perfect place to celebrate this summer favorite.
On Friday, June 19, Klavon’s (2801 Penn Avenue) is hosting a family-friendly ice cream social, complete with a presentation on how ice cream is made, free appetizers and plenty of ice cream samples.
The event is a part of a celebration of Penn State’s Berkey Creamery’s 150th anniversary, which provides Klavon’s with all their ice cream. Creamery ice-cream makers will be on hand, answering questions and sharing their secrets.
Admission is free, though space is limited. The fun kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
