It’s a Pittsburgh tradition- and it’s back for another year.
Lawrenceville’s annual Joy of Cookies Tour (now in its 17th year) will kick off on Friday, December 1 and will feature 40 stops.
The self-guided tour offers free sample-sized cookies at different shops, restaurants and other businesses throughout the neighborhood. This year’s Cookie Tour runs until Sunday, December 3, and will feature a wheelchair-accessible trolley from noon-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2. Also on Saturday, the Boys & Girls Club (4600 Butler Street) is hosting The Cookie Mall, with free homemade cookies, carols, and pictures with Santa from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. that evening, Lawrenceville United will host its annual tree lighting in the Allegheny Cemetery Driveway on Butler Street.
Participating businesses on the cookie tour this year include Banh Mi & Ti, Arsenal Bowling, Paint Monkey, Beer on Butler, Nine Stories, Senti and the Candle Lab. A full list of stops, along with a map of the tour, can be found online.
