Grab a glass of milk, and head to Lawrenceville for their 16th annual Joy of Cookies Cookie Tour.
From Thursday, December 3 through Sunday, December 6, shops and businesses throughout Lawrenceville will be handing out cookies (many of them home-baked by the business owners) all day long.
While each shop keeps their own hours, most stops on the cookie tour will be open from around 10:00 a.m. until about 6:00 p.m. each day. This year, visitors can stop at 40 places in the neighborhood to grab a cookie while they shop, and collect recipe cards to make their own.
Want to join the fun? Just look for the giant gingerbread signs outside of participating businesses.
On Saturday, December 5, a trolley will be available for anyone who’s wishing to park and ride throughout the neighborhood. That day, they’ll also be hosting The Cookie Mall from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club (4600 Butler Street), with a bake sale, eggnog samples from Turner’s Dairy, and cookies to taste.
You can find a list of participating shops (including Divertido, Paint Monkey and City Grows) on the Cookie Tour Map.
