Calling all chocolate lovers! This Saturday, April 29, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Adda Coffee & Tea House in East Liberty is educating their customers on the process of making chocolate.
Attendees to the event will be exposed to the process of chocolate making from the fruit to bar, with a focus on small-scale bean-to-bar production, and have the opportunity to taste cacao in its various forms. At the end of the event, guests will get to try selected Vietnamese single origin bars, and travel-themed chocolate bars from S.K. Frey Chocolates. This workshop will be conducted by Stacey Victor, a Masters of Food Studies student at Chatham University, and Sally Frey, the owner of S.K. Frey Chocolates and Confections.
Additionally that day, Adda will be celebrating their one-year anniversary by selling locally made Vietnamese egg rolls starting at noon.
