This week, Richard DeShantz’s critically-acclaimed Meat & Potatoes is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and announcing a change to its hours, with the elimination of their daily lunch service.
DeShantz writes on the Richard DeShantz’s Restaurant Group blog that the decision to discontinue lunch “was not an easy one, and we plan on focusing our creative talents on recipe and menu development.”
Brunch (along with their famous Bloody Mary Bar) will still be available every Saturday and Sunday, and Meat & Potatoes’ lunch will be available for private events and catering.
The final lunch service will be on Friday, September 2. Until then, lunch will be available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Starting in September, Meat & Potatoes’ new hours will be:
- Monday – Thursday: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Friday – Saturday: 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Sunday: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Brunch service, Saturday – Sunday: 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
