Eagerly anticipating the opening of Dennis Marron’s Merchant Oyster Company later this Fall? Get a sneak preview of some Merchant menu items at a Farm Roast party at Root and Heart Farm next month.
On Sunday, October 16, Marron is teaming up with the Gibsonia farm for a special farm party, featuring roasting pigs, oysters, and Marron’s famous Clam Chowder. Proceeds from each ticket will benefit The Back Pack Foundation, a local organization that delivers weekly backpacks filled with pre-packed meals to children in need.
Tickets to the event are $45 per person (kids eat free), and include all-you-can-eat pork and oysters, along with two craft beers from brewers such as Rooney’s, Fat Heads, Full Pint and Hop Farm. The event starts at 3:00 p.m., and will also feature live music from Cheer’ly Men, and family games.
