Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, one of Mt. Washington’s most popular restaurants, has officially reopened for business.
The seafood restaurant, known for their all-encompassing views of the city skyline, has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March. During that time, the team has made physical and operational changes to better provide a safe environment for guests, including rearranging the dining room to set tables eight feet apart, and limiting the number of guests allowed in the restaurant each night to 25% capacity, in accordance with Pennsylvania’s current capacity mandates.
The restaurant began taking reservations last week, and officially opened its doors on Tuesday, August 11.
Monterey Bay’s full dinner menu is available nightly, including their classic Surf & Turf, Lobster Romano, Chilean Sea Bass, and a selection of Crab Cake dishes.
They’re also offering a “Cook at Home” option for pickup, with a number of four-course dinners for two that can be made at home, including Honey Lime Salmon, Tuna Sashimi, Roasted Beef Tenderloin, and Chilean Sea Bass with Chimichurri. Each dinner comes with a shrimp cocktail appetizer course, salad, and dessert.
Reservations are available online, or by calling 412-481-4414.
