Justin Severino’s new Spanish tapas spot has an opening date.
Morcilla will officially open its doors on Thursday, December 10, and will be Severino’s second restaurant in Lawrenceville.
The 50-seat spot will feature a dining room and a standing room-only bar, with a menu that will focus on sharable small plates, and larger plates that are served family-style.
The menu will prominently feature Spanish-style, house-cured charcuteria, along with other traditional Spanish favorites, including croquetas de jamon, raw and pickled shellfish, and montaditos, small sandwiches served on baguettes.
Hilary Prescott Severino will be overseeing the extensive, Spanish-dominated wine program, and the cocktail menu will include red and white sangria, and gin cocktails with house-made tonics.
Reservations are available now online.
