The Independent Brewing Company (1704 Shady Ave.) might be best known for their beers, but they put a lot of time and effort into their cocktail menu – and they’ve just released a new lineup of ‘everyday’ cocktails that you can get anytime.
New to the cocktail list includes the ‘Georgia Brown,’ with cognac, bourbon, peach brandy and mint, and the ‘Allegheny Rum Barrel,’ a rum-soaked concoction that serves four and comes in five-gallon wooden barrel.
You’ll also find classic options, including a solid, straight Manhattan, and a Daiquiri made with Maggie’s Farm rum.
The Independent runs three nights of specials each week: Whiskey Wednesdays, with $6 Grand-Dad Old Fashioneds, Tiki Thursdays, with fresh fruit juices and flavorful rums, and Shook & Awe Saturdays, with a new menu every week with their take on next-level cocktail creations (think dry ice and boozy cotton candy confections).
