Sweet news coming out of Oakmont!
The insanely popular bakery has officially opened the doors on their brand new location. This new-and-improved facility is located on “Sweet Street,” just across the Hulton Bridge into Oakmont.
Oakmont Bakery announced their intentions to open a bigger and better location in early 2018. After over a year of construction, the new location officially opened their doors on Tuesday, February 5th.
Oakmont Bakery began in a former Hallmark Store in Oakmont three decades ago. Due to popular demand, the bakery quickly expanded to a larger facility on the lower boulevard in the neighborhood. However, even that wasn’t enough to accommodate Oakmont’s revolving door of ravenous customers.
Fast forward t0 2019, Oakmont Bakery is now housed in a 20,000 square foot building with a 100 car parking lot. The building boasts a modern, minimalist design with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. It also offers an expanded production facility, dining area for guests, and a break room for employees. Though more roomy, Oakmont’s counter-service system for ordering and paying will largely remain the same.
And while plenty is new about the space, customer’s shouldn’t worry – the bakery’s beloved recipes and classic treats will stay the same (with some new additions, of course).
Oakmont Bakery 3.0 is now open Monday-Saturday from 6:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. and Sunday from 6:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
