With Fall just around the corner, restaurants are taking the opportunity to mix up their menus, and adding seasonal dishes that make the most of autumn produce.
Downtown’s Braddock’s Pittsburgh Brasserie is leading the charge, with a new menu that focuses more heavily on local ingredients, sourced from places like Clarion River Organic and Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance.
New seasonal dishes from executive chef Jason Shaffer include Bacon-wrapped Veal Tenderloin with mustard spetzel and roasted fall apples, Blanquette de Poulette, and Roasted Bone Marrow with house-made pickled onion and seasonal fruit compote.
