Get ready for some comfort food classics.
Independent Brewing Company has just introduced a new winter menu, and it’s heavy on hearty fare.
Chef Monique Achaia Ruvolo’s menu features small plates, comfort food, elevated cuisine… and some sweets.
What caught our eye?
- Maggie’s Farm spiced run-fired Halloumi, with dried apricots, caramelized onions, and fresh herbs
- Crispy pork belly, with a chef’s selection beer braise, and house-made pickled vegetables
- Shrimp & Grits, with ancho-spiced wild Gulf shrimp, creamy turmeric hominy grits, and whiskey sauce
- Mac & Cheese with smoked cheese Beschamel
- House-made Potato Gnocchi, with winter squash cream, fried sage and Parmesan
- Middle Eastern-spiced flank steak with cauliflower and potato curry Moussaka greens
They serve dinner Monday through Saturday, and have a monthly Sunday brunch with an ever-changing, local, seasonal menu. You can see Independent’s full winter menu here.
