Dreaming of enjoying a lovely glass of wine in the warm spring sun? You’re in luck.
After closing for the better part of the last year, Apericena Wine Bar will soon be back open.
The South Hills wine bar, known for their stellar selection of wine, live music, and gorgeous patio (with unforgettable sunset views) is officially reopening for business on Thursday, March 11.
“We are thrilled to open up again,” says Brad Wituck, owner and operator. “We’ve missed our guests and missed being able to bring them great wines from around the world. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them all back.”
The wine bar has also just revamped their menu, offering a new selection of wines, with a list that features over 100 varieties and more than 35 wines by the glass. They also offer wine flights that they’ll customize based on your favorites and tastes.
“To help clear out some of the wines on our previous menu we are offering them at cost,” Wituck says. “So our customers can get a great deal on some of their favorites. We’ve also completely revamped our non-wine offerings. We have signature cocktails like our Aperol Spritz, Kiwi Pineapple Margarita with Violet Sea Salt & Sugar, Espresso Martini and Old Fashion. Plus a robust beer menu.”
And, if you’re hungry, Apericena also offers a small menu of tasty bites, including flatbreads (try the Spicy Italian with soppressata, capicola, provolone and mozzarella), charcuterie and cheese plates, and marinated olives.
Apericena Wine Bar will also be available for private events, and the wine bar is adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
“Opening safely and in a way where our customers are able to enjoy the atmosphere and experience is super important,” says Wituck. “By waiting a little longer we’ve been able to do just that.”
Opening hours are Thursdays from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
