Everyone’s favorite island restaurant in the Strip, Kaya, is hosting their start-of-summer block party this Sunday, May 28. Kaya promises that Smallman Street will be erupting with music, Caribbean inspired food and great vibes.
Music for the event includes Ripe’s unrelenting funk, the mellow Rastafarian syncopations, and pulsing Carnival drumlines – not to mention elaborate dancing.
The party will last for 11 hours, running from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The menu for the event includes:
- Roast Pork Plate with potato salad, baked beans starting at 6:00 p.m.
- Street Tacos (pork, chicken or veggie)
- Chips and Pineapple-Mango Salsa
- Kaya Dogs with or w/o Avocado, pico de gally, cotija cheese, cilantro
- Chicken Skewers with banana ketchup glaze
- Pork Belly Skewer with banana ketchup glaze
- Grilled Corn on the Cob with chipotle aioli, cilantro and cotija cheese
Drinks for the event include:
- Rum Punch, Sangria
- Tröegs: Sunshine Pils & Perpetual on tap
- Bell’s Oberon Ale, Victory Prima Pils, Victory Summer Love and more
