Nothing is better than fresh pasta, and if you didn’t have a Nana to teach you how to make it yourself like I did, taking a class from a fantastic chef is really the next best thing.
Lidia’s Italy executive Jeremy Voytish will be teaching a pasta-making class at the restaurant on Saturday, September 20. The class starts at 3:00 p.m. in Lidia’s Loft, and will be followed by a four-course dinner, with dishes created around the pasta that was featured in class.
Here’s a sneak peek at the evening’s menu:
- Linguine Con Le Vongole: Fresh linguine with clam sauce
- Zucca Ravioli: Roasted butternut squash ravioli with brown sage butter and toasted almonds
- Pappardelle con Involtini di Maiale: Braised stuffed pork rolls with prosciutto, pappardell, and a red wine tomato sauce
- “Manicotti”: Sweet crepes filled with a cinnamon mascarpone, whipped crème fraiche, pistachio brittle, and a concord grape compote
Tickets are $95 per person, plus $25 per person for an additional wine pairing.
If you’d like to make reservations, you can call Lidia’s at 412-552-0150.
