Piada Italian Street Food, a fast-casual restaurant chain with roots in Ohio, is now open for business in Oakland.
The restaurant’s menu features salads, pastas and ‘piadas,’ which are wraps made with thin crust dough that’s been baked on a grill, and rolled with fillings, like steak, arugula and roasted butternut squash, or chicken, sweet peppers and mozzarella.
Side options include soup, meatballs, piada sticks, and cannoli chips, served with chocolate chip cream.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week, from 10:45 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. This is the chain’s first location in the Pittsburgh area.
