A Pittsburgh Pickle Picks Up a Pair of Platinums. Can you say that five times fast?!
Pittsburgh’s very own “Briney Mary Bloody Mary Mix” from the Pittsburgh Pickle Company was honored with two platinum medals at a top international Bloody Mary festival last month.
“The Drunken Tomato is the Olympics of bloody mary focused competitions, bringing home two platinum awards is a thrill for our whole team,” said Will Patterson, co-founder, Pittsburgh Pickle Company.
The Drunken Tomato Awards utilizes a blind taste testing environment to reward industry manufacturers producing superior Bloody Mary products. A panel of expert judges awarded Briney Mary medals in both the Unique and Mild flavor categories.
Pittsburgh Pickle Co’s Briney Mary offers a new twist on the traditional cocktail mixer. Each collector’s bottle is locally made, and filled by hand. The mix is available at Pennsylvania Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, on Amazon, and through the Pittsburgh Pickle website.
