Some changes are coming to Pork & Beans… at least for the time being.
After closing for a few months (and a bit of takeout-only operations), the downtown BBQ restaurant is reopening with a new concept, focusing on an ever-changing small menu of sandwiches, batched cocktails, and cans of beer.
The restaurant reopened for service on their newly-expanded covered outdoor patio on Thursday, September 10, and will be open on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays at noon.
The current menu includes:
- Jalapeno Cheddar Kielbasa: Roasted Peppers and onions, mustard BBQ
- Smoked Brisket Sandwiches: Bread & Butter pickles, classic BBQ sauce, white onions
- Korean Pulled Pork: Korean chili glaze, spicy fermented pickles
Side dishes that are currently available include collard greens, baked beans, loaded potato salad, and Bacon, Broccoli & Cheddar salad.
Food will be available until it sells out, and takeout is available, too. For more information, check their social media.
