Have you ever been drinking a beer, and thought to yourself “I could use a little more… groundhog?”
Well, Penn Brewery is giving you a chance to make those dreams come true, because they’re bringing Pennsylvania’s most famous groundhog to the brewery for one night only.
On Friday, January 20, Punxsutawney Phil will be at Penn Brewery to help promote Punxsutawney Philsner, the German Pilsner that Penn Brewery has brewed to celebrate Groundhog’s Day.
A rep from the brewery tells us that Phil will be holding court in the front lobby of the restaurant, accompanied by his travel companions (and handlers), the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club’s Inner Circle.
Though Phil will be kept secure, visitors will be able to grab photos with the groundhog from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Penn Brewery will also be selling Punxsutawney Philsner drafts, and six-packs of bottles to go.
