Your mornings have just gotten a whole lot brighter! Brother Tom’s Bakery, the bakery and restaurant located in Sharpsburg, is cooking up something special this spring: rainbow bagels.
The rainbow bagel was popularized by the Bagel Shop in Brooklyn last year, and according to the Washington Post, people would wait up to 3 hours just to get their hands on this delicious, and Instagramable-treat.
The Bagel Shop now ships their rainbow bagels nationwide, but to order, potential customers need a passcode just to get on the VIP waiting list. Luckily, Pittsburghers need not go through all that trouble to get themselves a beautiful bagel – Brother Tom’s Bakery is serving them all spring long.
A rainbow bagel from Brother Tom’s is just $1, and can be picked up at the bakery anytime. Special orders can be made in advance for larger orders.

Along with rainbow bagels, Brother Tom’s has an pastry counter, and a full service restaurant. The shop bakes fresh cannoli, pies, and bread daily, and the restaurant is known for its pierogies, fried bologna sandwich, and two egg breakfast sandwich for just $4.75.
Brother Tom’s Bakery is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
