Each month, Six Penn Kitchen hosts an intimate ‘Plates & Pours’ wine tasting class, pairing five small bites with five different wines.
This month’s class will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 8:00 p.m.
On the menu:
- First Course: Tomato-Jalapeno Goat Cheese Cream Soup, paired with Pinot Blanc (Alsace, France)
- Second Course: Scallop Squid Ink Fettuccini, paired with Chardonnay (Napa Valley, California)
- Third Course: Tuna Tartare, paired with Dry Rose (France, 2015)
- Fourth Course: Pan-seared Lamb Rack, with ramp hazelnut relish, paired with Nebbiolo (Piedmont, Italy)
- Fifth Course: Crème Caramel with Port Poached Plums, paired with Sandeman 10-year-old Tawny Porto
