The Smallman Galley and Federal Galley are back in business – for takeout, at least.
Both the Strip District’s Smallman Galley and the North Side’s Federal Galley closed operations in March due to the COVID-19 crisis. But now, both restaurant incubators are back, offering a variety of food and drink options for pickup.
Starting today at noon, customers can order online (here for Smallman Galley and here for Federal Galley) for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon to 7:00 p.m.
Smallman Galley takeout options will include menus from Home and Sultry restaurants.
From Home, look for dishes like She-Crab Soup (available in pints and quarts), Kung Pao Cauliflower, burgers, cod sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken and biscuits, and ‘Quack Mac,’ their take on Macaroni & Cheese with duck confit. Select family meals are also available.
Sultry is featuring Snacks (Spinach Artichoke Dip, a Pittsburgh salad, roast chicken wings), Sandwiches (Roasted Pork Hoagie, Cheesy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps), Entrees (Chicken & Pepperoni Cacciatore, Steak & Potatoes, Pork & Spaetzle), and desserts.
Takeout options from all four of Federal Galley’s restaurants (Shaka, Which Came First, Provision PGH and Guapo) are available, offering dishes like the Southern Salad from Which Came First, Spicy Smoked Salmon Poke Bowls from Shaka, Family-style Enchiladas from Guapo and a Braised Pork Sandwich from Provision PGH.
To-go cocktails and growler fills will also be available, and on Saturdays and Sundays, brunch menus will be available, too.
