The South Side Soup Contest is happening this Saturday, February 21, and tickets are still available.
The three-hour event will take attendees on a sampling tour of local South Side restaurants, shops and other businesses, all while tasting dozens of different soups.
Chefs from 25 different restaurants, like Stagioni, OTB Bicycle Café, Local Bar + Kitchen and the Urban Tap will enter soups with the hope of winning the ‘Best Soup’ award, along with ‘Best Vegetarian,’ ‘Most Unique,’ and ‘Best Host.’
Tickets are $100 each, and include valet parking, a pre-event reception, an event tee-shirt, and special VIP stops. Event proceeds benefit the Brashear Association’s food pantry program, and the South Side Chamber of Commerce.
