Popular Pittsburgh food truck Stuntpig has officially opened their own brick-and-mortar.
Known for their smoked meats and classic sandwiches, Stuntpig has been rolling around town since 2020, serving up favorites like the ‘Mr. Orange,’ (smoked and pulled chicken, piri piri sauce, cucumbers, and chimichurri aioli), the ‘Murray Turkey,’ (house-smoked turkey, Romesco sauce, greens, shaved vegetables, and shallot vinaigrette), the ‘Mr. Nice Guy,’ (crabcake, arugula, Old Bay aioli, and grilled lemon), and the ‘Madonia’s Muffuletta,’ (house-cured ham, hot soppressata, mortadella, pepperoni, smoked provolone and olive salad), served on breads from Allegro Hearth Bakery, with gluten-free options from Wild Rise Bakery.
Sandwiches start at $12.
The Squirrel Hill shop, located at 1707 Murray Avenue in the former Bull River Taco location, offers eight seats for dine-in, and takeout is always available.
In addition to their sandwich menu, Stuntpig also offers a selection of sides, including Pig Wings (grilled pork shanks), chicken wings, potato salad, chikcpea salad, and house-made beef jerky, along with a kid’s menu (hello, cheese toasties).
Vegetarian options are also available, and allergens are clearly labeled.
Stuntpig is open Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 8:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 9:00 p.m.
