Dreaming of spring… and your garden? You’re not alone.
To get ready for planting season, Grow Pittsburgh and Phipps Conservatory are hosting a seed swap.
The free event takes place this Saturday at 11:00 a.m., on the first floor of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
Attendees can bring their extra open-pollinated (non-GMO, non-hybrid) seeds to swap with other area gardeners. If you don’t have seeds, or are just beginning to garden, seeds will be available for you to take home, too.
The swap is family friendly, and will include a hands-on activity for children, plus a seed-starting workshop for adults, and gardening experts will be on hand to answer all of your gardening questions.
Visit their event page for more details.
