Wigle Whiskey (2401 Smallman St.) is once again raising a glass to the Whiskey Rebellion, and Western Pennsylvania’s historic Whiskey tax protest.
Their annual Tar & Feather event is taking place on Friday, June 12 in the distillery parking lot, with live music from The Lone Pine String Band, food trucks, activities, art, cocktails – and plenty of whiskey. And in Tar & Feather tradition, area organizations will also be offering up their version of Tarring and Feathering for a winner-takes-all (of the bragging rights, that is) competition.
The event is free if you RSVP before Friday, and $5 at the door. All cocktails are $5 and food trucks are pay-as-you-go.
