Tonight is the biggest event of the year for Wigle Whiskey – their annual Tar & Feather event.
They’ll be celebrating the Whiskey Rebellion of the 1790s with lots of arts and cultural organizations, which have all come up with their own creative takes Western Pennsylvania’s historic Whiskey tax protest.
“People who come to the event get to experience all of these different renditions, and there’s definitely an element of competition,” says Wigle’s Jill Steiner. “But the biggest reason people get involved is because it’s a fun event.”
