Popsburgh, a new all-natural popsicle company, is popping up at the Pittsburgh Public Market on Sunday, April 19 for a Tasting & Testing party.
The party will serve as a kickoff to the popsicle business, which will feature fresh, locally grown and sourced ingredients, and flavors that will evolve and change with each season.
On Sunday, they’ll be at the Public Market (2401 Penn Avenue) from 1:00 to 4:00, with free samples of their popsicles, plus pops to buy.
In the coming weeks, keep an eye out around town for their rolling popsicle cart, which will be stationed on Saturdays and Sundays outside of the Pittsburgh Public Market, and in different spots around town throughout the week. Founder Craig McCloud says that he’ll be posting daily updates to Popsburgh’s Facebook and Twitter pages with the cart’s location.
Popsburgh’s popsicle flavors will come in standard (like Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemonade, Melon, Fudge and Lime) for $3, and premium varieties, like Hibiscus Blackberry, Mexican Fudge, Mango Basil Diablo, Berry Swirl, Strawberry Rhubarb, Peach Supreme, and Banana Nut Breakfast for $4 each.
They also have a line of pops for pups, a frozen dog treat with chicken broth, peanut butter, yogurt, and brewer’s yeast.
