Great British Baking Show Masterclass
I know you’re already a fan of The Great British Bake Off (affectionately called GBBO, for short) – who isn’t? But if you need more Bake Off in you life as you eagerly await the new season, try the GBBO Masterclass on Netflix. Watch as Mary and Paul teach viewers how to make many of the complicated desserts featured on the show. You’ll be inspired to make a handshake-worthy dessert afterwards!

This popular Netflix food show is back for a second season! Once again James Beard Award-winning chef David Chang (and a whole bunch of his celebrity friends) are traveling around the world, trying different foods and explaining how their made – why their made – and their place in the food universe. On the Run Eatin’ With N.O.R.E.
On this Complex food show, hip-hop legend N.O.R.E. combines his passions for food and music while eating (and drinking) his way through cities like Atalanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Napa Valley with a group of friends and celebrities. Spots range from hole-in-the-wall joints, to the finest restaurants and vineyards in the country, proving you can find good food (and a good time) anywhere you go.

The Best Thing I Ever Ate
We may all be homebound for the time being, but if you want to dream up future food adventures, try watching a few episodes of The Best Thing I Ever Ate. This popular Food Network show investigates the best meals celebrity chefs have ever had at restaurants all over the world. You know, those meals that sit with you for years, and tempt you to fly or drive hundreds of miles to try again. I personally tried a crab roll at fish. in Sausalito, California, based off a recommendation from this show, and now it’s the best thing I ever ate.

Midnight Diner
The premise of this heartwarming show is all in the name – Midnight Diner. In a busy sector of Tokyo, a chef (named “The Master”) runs a tiny diner that’s only open from Midnight to 7am. The restaurant caters to a revolving door of eclectic customers who all have their reasons for being up (and in his restaurant) in the middle of the night. To comfort, The Master often fulfills the request to make guest’s childhood favorites – while we, the viewers, watch in awe.

Pasta Grannies
Have you ever wanted to learn to make pasta from a loveable Italian granny? Of course you have! Well, look no further than Pasta Grannies, a YouTube series that documents (for posterity) cooking traditions from all over Italy. In each episode a granny invites viewers into their homes and teaches them to make a traditional pasta dishes (or other food) that’s typical of their region.

I Draw, You Cook
Fun for the whole family! On this entertaining show, two chefs compete to come up with a dish that most accurately depicts a child’s wild imagination. The kid comes up with the prompt, and judges the final results.
Worth It
Does food have to be expensive to taste good? That’s what the hosts of this BuzzFeed show are trying to figure out. Traveling all over the world, they taste the same dish at three different price points: cheap, average, and over-the-top expensive. They then determine the goldilocks price that makes the best dish. Great show for discovering restaurant recommendations.

Bon Appetit Test Kitchen
Bon Appétit’s food editors and chef come together to experiment with ideas, recipes and cooking techniques on this show. No idea is too crazy for the test kitchen (see: making Combos – yes, the cheesy pretzel snack – from scratch). Infections personalities and genuine cooking instruction make a perfect marriage in the test kitchen.

Binging with Babish
Film fans, this one’s for you. On Binging with Babish, host “Oliver Babish” (its’ an alias, y’all) tries to recreate food items featured in various movies, shows, and video games. Episodes include Krabby Patty from SpongeBob, Kevin’s Famous Chili from The Office, Ritz Burger from Bob’s Burgers, Milk Steak from It’s Always Sunny, and many, many more.
