Love Thanksgiving dinner? So do we. That’s why we love all of of the Thanksgiving-inspired dishes that are arriving on Pittsburgh restaurant menus this time of year, but turkey burgers with all the fixings, to Thanksgiving sandwiches, loaded with cranberry sauce.

Pittsburgh’s newest brewpub is getting into the holiday spirit with The Cornucopia, a shaved turkey sandwich, topped with stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. Get it throughout the month of November.

It’s only available for a limited time – through November – but the Thanksgiving Burger at Wahlburgers is worth a try. The 1/4 seasoned turkey burger is topped with stuffing, mayo, roasted butternut squash and housemade orange-cranberry sauce, and the chain claims that it’s “Mark’s favorite.”

The Gobblerito always makes news whenever it reappears on the menu at Mad Mex locations around town. The Thanksgiving burrito is stuffed with turkey, mashed black bean potatoes, stuffing and corn. Then, it’s all drenched in gravy, and served with a side of cranberry sauce. You can get it at all Mad Mex locations through Thanksgiving.

The Smallman Galley’s Home has brought back their popular Thanskgiving Poutine for a limited time! Turkey, gravy, cheese curds, cranberry compote, fennel slaw, sweet potato mash and Yukon gold mash all arrive on a bed of stuffing-seasoned French fries… yes, that’s three different kinds of potatoes in one Thanksgiving dish. And we wouldn’t want it any other way.

The much-loved Thanksgiving Burger is back at Burgatory Bar! Get the garlic-crusted turkey patty burger, topped with melted Farmhouse cheddar cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn gravy, and cranberry jam, from now through the end of November. And make it a meal with their popular Pumpkin Pie Shake, made with bits of house-made pumpkin pie, vanilla bean ice cream, and caramel sauce.

Emporio: A Meatball Joint
Every November, Emporio’s meatball-of-the-month takes on Thanksgiving. The turkey meatballs have bits on onions, carrots and cranberries, and can be served in a bowl (with white cheddar mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy), or stuffed in a panini with cheese (and served with gravy for dipping).

D’s Six Pax & Dogz
D’s Six Pax & Dogz is famous for their “Franksgiving” dog. Every November, you can order a massive turkey dog, piled high with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and a side of cranberry sauce.

Steel Cactus restaurants across Pittsburgh celebrate Thanksgiving with their own version of a Thanksgiving burrito – made with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and corn, and topped with queso gravy, and served with a side of cranberry guacamole. You can never have too many Thanksgiving burger options this time of year! BRGR’s Gobble Gobble turkey burger is topped with sage stuffing, pickled green beans, cranberry aioli, and turkey gravy, and is available for November.

Pig Iron Public House’s waffle-of-the-month for November is Thanksgiving-inspired. The Smoked Turkey Waffle is a stuffing waffle topped with house-smoked turkey, deep-fried mashed potato balls, and topped with gravy.

Piper’s Pub Thanksgiving Boxty is available through Thanksgiving, and is a traditional potato pancake, stuffed with roasted turkey breast, house-made stuffing, and sweet corn. Then, it’s smothered in turkey gravy, and served with a side of cranberry sauce.

The Yard’s Thanksgiving offering is their popular Turk’ed Up Grilled Cheese Sandwich. This ooey-gooey dish is stuffed with roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, and cheddar cheese, and made with two pieces of Texas toast. And, they’re served with a side of cranberry-stuffed pierogies. You can get the dish from now through the end of November.
