Feeling hungry? There’s plenty of fun foodie events happening in Pittsburgh this weekend!

Friday, January 26

Choolaah Indian BBQ Opening Weekend
If you’re one of the first 100 guests at Choolaah Indian BBQ’s new East Liberty location, you’ll get free food for a year. Plus, there are plenty of other specials and events happening all weekend long. Visit the event page for more details.

Hopism Launch Party at Full Pint Brewing
Full Pint is releasing the newest batch of Hopism, their Imperial IPA starting at 5:00 p.m. – plus, they’ll have live entertainment from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 27

Coffee Buddha Food Truck Roundup
From 11:30 to 4:00 p.m., head to the Coffee Buddha for some of Pittsburgh’s best food trucks, including PGH Taco Truck, PGH Crepes Truck, Bulldawgs and Mac & Gold Truck.

Trax Farms Winter Beer Fest
Head to Trax Farms for an afternoon of local beer, live music, and lots of food on the farm. Tickets are $15 if pre-ordered (and $20 at the door), and include samples of brew from Arsenal Cider House, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, East End Brewing, Voodoo Brewery and more.

Battle of the Bowls Chili Cookoff at Heinz Lofts
Care for some chili on a cold day? Pittsburgh food trucks are gathering at Heinz Lofts to share their best chili efforts. Tickets are $16, and include samples of all entries and a free drink.

Brisketburgh at Allegheny City Brewing
If you haven’t tried Brisketburgh yet, here’s your chance. They’ll be at Allegheny City Brewing from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., pairing delicious BBQ with awesome brews.

Boozin’ In Your Onesie Bar Crawl
Want to drink on the South Side in your pajamas? This bar crawl is for you.

Sausage From Start To Finish Class at Chatham
Chatham University is hosting a sausage workshop, which will teach attendees about different types of sausage, and its production. Participants will learn about local farms and sources for finding sustainable meat, how to grind meat for sausages, and the basics of cooking sausage. The workshop is $50 per person ($45 for alumni) and tickets can be purchased online.

Sunday, January 28

Flea-for-All Flea Market at Spirit
Do a little flea market-shopping for records, clothes, books, vintage items and more… then, enjoy Spirit’s famous pizza brunch afterwards!

Tea Class & Tea Tasting at Blue Monkey Tea Shop
Learn all about tea from its history, to its chemistry at Blue Monkey Tea Shop. Tickets are $25, and include tea tastings, and snacks.
