PicklesburghÂ
Picklesburgh officially kicks off today for a super-sized event on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, running from Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22. Here’s everything you need to eat and drink, including Wigle Whiskey’s new pickle-flavored spirit.
Bakery Square Urban Beach PartyÂ
Get yourself to Bakery Square this evening for their annual beach party. They’ll have 25 food trucks, lots of beer, a sandy beach and beach games, too. Find out more online.
Sommerfest at Teutonia Männerchor
It’s one of the most authentically German events of the year. Sommerfest at Teutonia Männerchor will feature pit-roasted boar, radler, and classic German food and music at this special event, which is happening on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21. Daily entry is $5 per person, and more information can be found online.
Saturday, July 21
Guest Chef Dinner at Fl. 2
Fl. 2 chef Julio Peraza is launching is first Guest Chef Dinner Series with four chefs, including Kevin Sousa from Superior Motors and Casey Renee from the Whitfield. The six course dinner is $95 per person, with an optional $35 wine pairing. Find more on the event page.
Eats N’ Beats at the Pittsburgh Food Truck Park
A food truck and live music festival is happening at the Pittsburgh Food Truck Park to benefit refugees and immigrants at Northern Area Multi Service Center’s Community Assistance and Refugee Resettlement Department. Tickets are $30, and include one drink, and one meal. See more on the event page.
Saturday, July 22
Western PA Lamb Festival at the Ace Hotel
Table Magazine and the Ace Hotel are teaming up for the Western PA Lamb Festival, with 10 chef teams joining forces for an all-star cook-off. Tickets are $65, and can be purchased online.
Kayak Paddle and Beer Tasting
Allegheny City Brewing and Kayak Pittsburgh are hosting a kayak tour on the Allegheny River below the Clemente Bridge, followed by a flight of beers at Allegheny City Brewing. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on the kayaks, and at the brewery, too. Tickets are $47, and can be purchased online.
