Friday, July 22

Bakery Square Urban Beach Party

Bakery Square is throwin’ a beach bash. The free event kicks off at 4:00 p.m., and will feature lots of beer, lots of food, and lots of sand. Wristbands are $15 per person, and include four hours of unlimited beers from Shipyard Brewing, Morgantown Brewing, Leinenkugel and more. They’ll also have 16 food trucks on site, including Franktuary, BRGR, Driftwood Oven, Berlin Street Food, Vagabond Food Truck, Oakmont Barbecue Company, PGH Crepes, PGH Pierogi Truck, Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, Randita’s and more. Bayardstown Happy Hour

Bayardstown is keeping their Friday happy hour tradition alive with live bands, and food trucks every Friday night. This week, they’ll have beer from Sweetwater Brewing (Bayardstown is also BYOB-friendly), and food from Berlin Street Food, plus the charcoal grills will be up and running for bring-your-own-meats. Truth and Rights will be playing live music, and entry is free for members, and $5 for non-members. Find more info online.

Saturday, July 23

Brunch Hard with Sweet Peaches at Black Forge Coffee

Allentown’s Black Forge is hosting Sweet Peaches for a special brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Be on the lookout for their seasonal, everything-homemade dishes, plus a few surprises, too. Black Forge Coffee House (1206 Arlington Avenue)

Massive Vegan Potluck

Bring your favorite vegan dish to share to the Westinghouse Shelter at Schenley Park for a massive vegan potluck dinner. The event starts at 1:00 p.m., and is free to attend, and dog-and-kid-friendly. More information is available their event page.

Food Truck Dinner Party in Cranberry

Join seven food trucks (including Rolling Cones, Stickler’s Ice Pops, PGH Halal Truck and more) in Cranberry Twp. during the American Red Cross Relay for Life event for a food truck dinner party. Twenty percent of all food truck sales will go to the American Red Cross. More info is available online.

Lobster Crawl at Adda Tea House

East Liberty’s Adda Coffee & Tea House is hosting a neighborhood Lobster Crawl with Muddy Waters and the Livermore. The crawl kicks off at 4:00 p.m., and guests will get to sample lobster rolls from Bar Marco, Muddy Waters, Spoon, Umami, The Vandal and Dianoia’s Eatery. Tickets are $55 per person, and can be purchased online.

Tetto Tiki Christmas in July at Sienna Mercato

Sienna Mercato is adding a little holiday flavor to their regular Sunday-night tiki party with a tropical Christmas in July event this Sunday. They’ll have holiday beers from Full Pint and Fat Heads, plus Christmas-inspired tropical drinks. For more information, visit their event page.

Sonntag with War Street Brewing and Brownstone Oven at Wigle Whiskey

Wigle Whiskey is hosting a weekly Sonntag this summer, celebrating the German heritage of Northside’s Deutschtown. During this week’s Sonntag, they’ll be serving up complimentary samples of War Streets Brewery beer, and will have special Wigle cocktails available for purchase, along with pizza from The Brownstone Oven.
