Whiskey Rebellion Festival
Celebrate the Whiskey Rebellion in Washington, PA this weekend with a festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday night is ‘Blues, Brews & BBQ’ night with food vendors, beer, and wine by the glass from Washington Winery. More info can be found online.
July Night Market
Thanks to the possibility of thunderstorms, this month’s Night Market will take place indoors at 623 Smithfield Street, but it will still have plenty of food vendors, beer, cocktails and crafts. Find out more information online.
Cosmopolitan Pittsburgh
Join the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust at the August Wilson Center for an evening of food, drinks, and live music. VIP tickets are $95 per person, and include bites from Station, Plated Trade, Union Standard and Smallman Galley, plus spirit tastings from Wigle Whiskey and an open bar with signature cocktails. Pittsburgh’s Birthday Bash
Celebrate 200 years of Pittsburgh at the city’s official Bicentennial Birthday Bash at the Heinz History Center. Each ticket includes food from Common Plea catering, and a slice of a one-of-a-kind birthday cake, featuring Pittsburgh’s skyline and rivers, plus plenty of live music (including Joe Grushecky!). Deutschtown Music Festival
Eat some really great food while listening to some really great music at this all-day outdoor music festival. Food trucks scheduled to make an appearance include Nakama, Berlin Street Food, Pittsburgh Po’Boy, Second Breakfast, Midnight Munchies, Tooties Famous Italian Beef, PGH Halal Food and Onion Maiden. Sunday, July 10
The King of the Wing Festival
Get sauced at the second annual King of the Wing Festival at Penn Brewery. 20 local restaurants will be serving up their very best wings to take home the ultimate title. Tickets range from $30 to $60 and include all the wings you can eat. Get tickets, and find out more information on their website.
Neighborhood Flea
You’ll find food trucks galore (and plenty of awesome vintage finds) at the Neighborhood Flea flea market in the Strip District. Food trucks include Mac & Gold Truck, Franktuary, Randita’s Vegan Café, Stickler’s Ice Pops, Happy Camper Cakes, and SouthSide BBQ. For more information, visit their event page.
Apples & Ales at Arsenal
Arsenal Cider House will have live music from The Alex Talbot Trio, food from Penn Brewery, and plenty of Hard Apple Cider, too. Tickets are $25 and include food (think beer-marinated brats, andouille sausage on pretzel b uns, and savory crepes), and one drink. Tickets are available online.
Pups & Pints at Grist House
Bring your favorite four-legged buddy for a day of fun at Grist House. The event, from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m., will include free massages for your pup, a photo booth, food from Pittsburgh Sandwich Society Food Truck, Grist House brews, and a mobile vet will be doing microchipping onsite. Plus, all of the proceeds benefit the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society. More information can be found online.
