Friday, July 1
The Birds & The Beers at the National Aviary
Mix and mingle with exotic birds while enjoying food, beer and live music at the National Aviary. Tickets range from $60 to $75, and are available online.
Christmas in July at Arsenal Cider House
Celebrate the release of Arsenal’s famous Snowbound Cinnamon Apple Cider with a Christmas in July bash, featuring live music from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a cookout menu with pulled pork sandwiches and other BBQ favorites. See more on their event page.

Spirit Lunch: Pittnic Edition at Spirit
Southern favorites will be on the menu at Spirit from noon to 4:00 p.m., with picnic-style menu from chef Ryan Chavara. Stop in for Fried Chicken Biscuits with pickle chips, honey butter and jalapeno peach slaw, BLTs with fried green tomatoes, Smoke Trout Pate, Deviled Eggs, Fingerling Potato Salad, and other elevated picnic dishes. Lawrenceville Independence Day Celebration at Arsenal Park
Celebrate the Fourth of July with an all-day Arsenal Park party. There will be plenty of live music, children’s activities (including a petting zoo), and food available from Hambone’s and Kelly’s Korner. See the full lineup on their event page.
Brat Festival
Berlin Street Food is hosting their first Brat Festival at Grist House Brewery, featuring some of the city’s best brat makers. Tickets are $15 to judge all brats, and $4 mini brats will be available, too. For more information, visit their event page.
Voodoo Homestead’s July Epic Food Truck Rally

StrawberRye Saturday at East End Brewing
Nothing says ‘summer’ quite like strawberry beer. East End Brewing is tapping their StrawberRye, made with 100 pounds of Kretschmann Farms strawberries on Saturday, plus Wild Purveyors will be selling berries, jams and jellies, and Pizzaiolo Primo will be serving up fresh-made pizzas at the brewery. Pre-Fourth of July Bash at Wigle Whiskey
Kick of your Fourth of July celebration early at Wigle Whiskey’s Northside Barrelhouse with their family-friendly pre-holiday event from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream will be on hand with boozy milkshakes and ice cream, plus Wigle spirits and boilermaker specials with Spring Hill Brewery, who will also be serving up samples of their beers, including Table Braun and Chili Ale. Bar Crafts at Allegheny Wine Mixer
