Riverlife’s War of the Roses
PNC and Riverlife are hosting their annual “War of the Roses” fundraiser, an effort to make Pittsburgh’s riverfronts cleaner, safe and more fun for everyone. Tickets to the event include rosé tastings, rosé-inspired food and cocktails, and a romantic voyage on the Gateway Clipper Fleet while listening to live music. Brosé All Day! Pressed Pommeau Release Party
Time for even more rosé. Wigle Whiskey is celebrating the release of their newest batch of Pommeau in “the most basic way possible” – with tacos and rosé! The will be live music, and rosé cocktails featuring Sweet Lou’s Brosé- a collaboration between Lou DiDonato and The Pittsburgh Winery. Tickets can be purchased online.
Seven Springs Wine Festival
Sample 30 Pennsylvania wineries this weekend at Seven Springs Mountain Resort for their annual Seven Springs Wine Festival. The festival will feature PA Winemakers, local craft vendors, and live music. The event runs both Friday and Saturday, and day passes and weekend passes are available for purchase. Vibes Under the Homestead Grays Bridge
This Saturday will be a night of music, food, drinks, art, and vibes under the Homestead Grays Bridge. Enjoy live music from DJ Gordy, Rhythm ‘n’ Steel, and Beauty Slap. There will also be food, drinks, art, a 21+ beer garden, and a Podcast Performance by YaJagoff. This event will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
FEASTival
FEASTival returns to McKees Rocks this Saturday with lots of food trucks, and lots of local art. For this event, 17 food trucks will be on site, as well as style trucks, live music, and art installations. FEASTival began in 2013 as a way to bring the community together, and show off all the redevelopment happening in the area. Read out post for more information on the event.
Puppies and Pounders at Spirit in Lawrenceville

Second Annual Endless Summer Luau
It’s time for another Endless Summer Luau at the Biergarten at Hotel Monaco. Guests will enjoy traditional Luau foods and island cocktails. There will also be a lei greeting, coconut husking demonstration, photo op, ‘tattooing’, Hawaiian musicians, and a fire knife dance. Tickets can be purchased online.
Abita Boil at Hough’s
A few tickets are still left for the 4:00 p.m. seating of Hough’s Abita, NOLA style crawfish boil. Items on the boil menu include: crawfish, sausage, corn, shrimp, and potatoes. Everything will be cooked in copper beer kettles with Abita beer right in front of the guests. Once the food is ready, it will be dumped out onto a long picnic table, and guests will be able to enjoy a family style buffet.
Bluegrass Brunch: The Armadillos at Tupelo Honey Teas

Celebrate the summer harvest at Phipps Conservatory for its 13th annual Red, Ripe and Roasted tomato and garlic festival. The festival is free to attend, but guests who donate a bag of produce will be admitted to Phipps’ SUPER. NATURAL. Glass Art show and Butterfly Forest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will include cooking demonstration, tastings, “Biggest, Smallest and Ugliest” homegrown tomato contests, local vendors selling fresh, produce, and fun kid activities. Every Sunday at the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse on the North Side, Wigle features a different brewery and serves their beers in $10 boilermakers from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This week they are featuring Dancing Gnome Brewery from Sharpsburg. Wigle Wags and Whisky Event
Camp Bow Wow is hosting another charitable, pup-friendly event at the Wigle Whiskey barrelhouse on the North Side.
