412 Food Rescue and Threadbare Cider have joined forces for a very special (and very tasty) partnership: Foraged Mulberry Cider.
That’s right, the Threadbare team has crafted a brand-new mulberry cider, made with mulberries that have been harvested by hand in and around Pittsburgh.
If you’re not familiar with the foraged fruit, mulberries are blackberry-looking berries that grow in the wild throughout Pennsylvania, and are rich-tasting and sweet when they’re ripe.
Threadbare’s Foraged Mulberry Cider will be released on Friday, August 17 at Threadbare’s North Side cidery.
The event is free to attend (just RSVP online), and will include free cider samples, along with Foraged Mulberry Cider floats, and cider drafts, on the menu.
