Celebrate Oktoberfest this year at the Pittsburgh Zoo for ZooBrew!
Guests of the event on Friday, September 8 will have the chance to explore exhibits like the Forest Passage, the African Savanna, and the Islands, all while sipping on delicious craft beers.
Tickets to ZooBrew: Oktoberfest will include beer from over 60 breweries, delicious bites, live entertainment, and a tasting mug. Attendees will have the chance to observe more zoo animals than previous years, including tigers, Amur leopards, giraffes, red pandas, Masai giraffes, African elephants, cheetahs, warty pigs and siamangs during the event.
The menu includes:
- Bavarian Pretzel necklaces
- Green chili churros
- Beer cheese spaetzel with crispy onions
- BBQ potato chips
- Patatas Bravas: Roasted potatoes with smoked paprika butter and roasted tomato aioli
- BBQ chicken tacos with charred chipotle and corn salsa
- Pulled pork with roasted red pepper slaw and cornbread
- Pretzel-crusted fried cheese curds with herbed beer mustard
- Beerscotti and coffee
Tickets are $63, and ticket holders must be 21 years of age or over and have a valid ID. Â The event runs from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m., and is rain or shine. Tickets can be purchased online.
