All of your cheese-stuffed dumpling dreams are about to come true, because tickets to the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival are now on sale!
After a one-year break, the Pierogi Festival is back, and this year, it’s going to be taking place at Kennywood Park – yes, that means pierogies, beer and amusement park rides are providing the all-day fun.
The Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival is happening on Sunday, September 24 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and early-bird tickets just went on sale. One thousand tickets will be available through April 15 at the special rate of $19.99 for adults and $9.99 for children. After April 15, tickets are $24 for adults and $12 for children, with tickets available at the door for $28 for adults.
The event will feature pierogies and pierogi dishes from over two dozen restaurants, chefs and pierogi producers, plus kids activities, and access to select Kennywood rides, like the Thunderbolt, Jack Rabbit and Racer. The beer garden will also be open, and a special pop-up ‘Pierogi Marketplace’ will sell pierogi-inspired tee shirts, jewelry and more.
Tickets include access to the festival, parking and entertainment. All food and beverages are pay-as-you-go.
