Tickets are still left for a very tasty craft night at the Carnegie Museum of Art. For this event, Amanda Wright, owner of the acclaimed Pittsburgh chocolate shop A519 Chocolate, will be teaching a hands-on truffle-decorating class.
On Thursday, July 6, guests will sip on a glass of champagne as Wright explains how to “add a little panache to your ganache,” and instructs the proper technique for decorating truffles. After the instructional portion of the event, guests will be taken on a special tour of the museum, which will highlight select artwork that has inspired Wright. She is currently collaborating with the CMOA on a collection of truffles inspired by artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, De Kooning and more.
Tickets are $35 per person and include three truffles to customize, a glass of champagne, and a guided tour of the museum. More information can be found online.
