There’s nothing like doughy, buttery, warm pierogies to make you feel like you’re home in Pittsburgh… and there’s nothing like the Pittsburgh Pierogi Fest to celebrate these potato-stuffed treats.
The second annual Pierogi Fest is set for Saturday, October 18 at Stage AE from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Local restaurants, chefs, food trucks and purveyors, like Franktuary, Braddock’s American Brasserie, and Pittsburgh Smokehouse, will be featuring their best pierogi creations, plus there will be live music, a marketplace for arts and crafts, the Pirates’ Pierogies and more.
We’re especially excited to try the pierogi-inspired cupcakes from Happy Camper Cakes – think vanilla potato cake with buttercream frosting and candied onions and Chocolate sauerkraut cake with fudge buttercream.
Tickets are still available for the rain-or-shine event, and cost $12.50 each (not including food or drink). Check out their website to purchase.
