If you still haven’t bought tickets yet to this year’s Farm to Table conference, there are still some available – but they’re going quickly.
This year’s event will take place on Friday and Saturday, with lots of vendors, speakers, and special events. The theme this year is ‘Cook and Home,’ and will feature dozens of presentations on local food, cooking, gardening, and more. And, we’re incredibly excited to be a presenter this year. Join us for our speaker series ‘The Neighborhood Food Project: Building Community Through Neighborhood Food Swaps and Home Cooking.’ We’ll be talking about our experiences growing the Pittsburgh Food Swap, neighborhood soup nights, progressive dinners, and more. Join us on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
The two-day event will also feature some fun special events, like the Local Food Tasting on Friday at 5:00 p.m., with dozens of local farms, restaurants, food producers, wineries and distilleries sharing tastes of their products, and a Farm Fresh Breakfast on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
You can find out more and purchase tickets on the Farm to Table registration page, and click on the links to see the speaker schedule, exhibitor list and event program.
