The East End Food Co-op is hosting a Healing Foods workshop tonight at 7:00, kicking off a number of events in the next two months.
Tonight’s free workshop will be led by natural health counselor and cooking instructor Rosemary Traill, who will discuss the health properties (and cooking techniques) of healthy whole grains, leafy green vegetables, and other healthy and restorative foods.

In parternship with Pittsburgh’s Center for Creative Reuse, the East End Food Co-op is hosting an upcycled craft night and potluck at the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, 214 North Lexington Street, Pittsburgh.
Crafting the Perfect Cheese Tray:Â Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m.
East End Food Co-op’s resident cheese expert will teach a workshop devoted to the ins and outs of assembling the perfect cheese tray for a holiday spread, while attendees enjoy samples.
The co-op also has upcoming screenings planned for the documentaries Fed Up and Sustainability Pioneers, plus more healthy living workshops in the coming months.
