Osteria 2350 is setting the table for a Mediterranean Wine Dinner on Wednesday, March 26.
The seven-course dinner menu was created by Osteria executive chef Greg Alauzen, and includes wine pairings selected by in-house sommeliers.
Seats are $85 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling Osteria 2350 at 412-281-3090.
The menu includes:
First course: Tuna Crudo. Ahi tuna, Champagne caviar, micro arugula and cara cara orange.
Paired with Ravento I Blanc L’hereu, Spanish Cava
Second Course: Prawns & Garlic. Head-on spot prawns, confit garlic and garlic-seafood broth
Paired with Hidalgo La Gitana Manzanilla Sherry
Third Course: Wild Mushroom Salad. Local mushrooms, house-made ricotta, white win vinaigrette and dandelion greens
Paired with Skouras Moscofilero
Intermezzo: Chef’s choice
Fifth Course: Smoked Chicken Thighs. Smoked Heritage Farms chicken, red wine risotto and chicken sausage
Paired with Firriato Etna Rosso
Sixth Course: Braised Lamb Leg. Sliced Elysian Field’s Farm lamb, vindalou curry, couscous, and golden raisins
Paired with Ouled Thaleb Red Blend
Dessert Course: Chocolate Flourless Cake. Toasted house-made marshmallow, raspberry buttercream and port gastrique
Paired with Sandeman 10-year Tawny
