Union Pig & Chicken Hosting Special ‘Meatatarian’ Nights

August 27, 2015 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

Union Pig & Chicken is celebrating all things meat with the introduction of ‘Meatatarian Tuesdays,’ an upcoming dinner series.

The monthly event will kick off on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m., and each month’s dinner will feature a different local chef in the kitchen, and a guest bartender slinging drinks behind the bar. Tickets are $65 per person, and include a four-course meat-heavy dinner, beverage pairings, tax and tip.

And, just in case they haven’t made their carnivorous intentions clear, there won’t be a single vegetarian option on the menu.

Here’s a peek at their fall schedule:

Tuesday, September 29 – The Pig Dinner: Guest chef Bek Hlavach of Sweet Peaches in Allentown and Union Pig & Chicken’s beverage director Abbie Rhoads

Tuesday, October 20 – The Hop Dinner: Rabbits and Beer, with guest chef, farmer and homebrewer Reed Verdesoto of Green Thicken Farm in Newcastle, PA and guest bartender Wes Shonk of Wigle Whiskey

Tuesday, November 17 – The Family Dinner: A family-style meal of homemade dumplings, ramen, and Southeast Asian specialties with a special second seating at 10:30 p.m. for service-industry employees only

Menus will be posted on their website and social media pages two weeks before each event.

For more information and reservations, call Union Pig & Chicken at 412-363-7675.
