The crew at eatPGH is teaming up with Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership to celebrate spring, and kick off the 2015 Urban Supper season with an outdoor picnic party.
On Saturday, May 30, they’ll be hosting the family-style picnic with tasty dishes prepped by some of Pittsburgh’s best chefs, including Rich DeShantz of Butcher and the Rye, Meat & Potatoes, and the newly-opened tako, Keith Fuller of Root 174, and Brian Pekarcik of Grit & Grace, Spoon, BRGR and Willow.
It will all happen at the US Steel Tower Plaza downtown, with table seating, fine china, and a beautiful setting.
Guests will enjoy smoked meat, including chicken and sausage, a variety of picnic-style sides, pigs in a blanket, plus cocktail pairings (making this a 21-and-over event). Tickets are $75 per person, and are on sale now.
