
To honor Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, local restaurants and national chains are offering free meals, discounts, special offers, and other tasty treats for veterans and active duty military.
We’ve rounded up a few of the best local deals and specials, and we’ll keep updating as more come in.
Veterans Day 2015 restaurant deals:
Primanti Bros.: Free sandwich for veterans and active duty military starting at 4:00 p.m.
Waffles, INCaffeinated: Armed forces members in uniform will receive 40% off
Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh: All military veterans, active duty and reservists will receive a 50% discount on their food purchase
Out of the Fire Café: All veterans and active military personnel receive 20% off menu items
Jerome Bettis’ Grill 36: Complimentary meal, up to a $15 value, with proof of service for all veterans and active duty military
Sheetz: Free lunch with proof of service
Rivers Casino: Free lunch at Grand View Buffet with Military ID or veterans card from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
Applebee’s: Free meal for military veterans and active-duty service members, from a choice of seven entrees. Military ID or proof of service required.
Denny’s: Free Build-Your-Own Grand Spam from 5:00 a.m. to noon for all active, inactive, and retired military personnel.
Chili’s: Free lunch combo, or free dinner meal from select menu with proof of military service.
Bob Evans: Free all-you-can-eat hotcakes for active duty military and veterans with ID or proof of service
Olive Garden: Free entrée for veterans and active duty military with proof of service. Guests that dine with a veteran will receive 10% off their bill.
Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch from a special Veterans Day lunch menu, including sides and a beverage.
